Watching the tapes, part 1

I watched a few of the tapes in the box. So far, nothing abnormal, aside from frequent odd video glitches.

The first tape is of two young boys, both seeming to be in the 14-15 range. They both talk to the camera, stating that they are recording on it for fun, to keep records of their day-to-day activities. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The second tape is of the two kids talking outside. They talk about video games, TV and other such things for about 10 minutes. This conversation reveals their names: Sam and Andrew. They decide that it's really hot out and go inside. There is a strange glitch here, when they open the door to the house, the video jitters a bit, and it shows them opening the door again. The rest is just the two playing some video games.

The third tape, the last one I watched, is just Sam on his computer alone. Nothing else. Normally, I'd say the camera was left on, but the whole tape is nothing but this, so I guess he just really likes recording himself.

There is a surprising amount of tapes in this box. I'm starting to wonder why this was in a closet in an old police station, and why the box is marked "evidence".
